Assemblyman Tony Thurmond, D-Richmond, is holding a schooling Town Hall in Richmond on Nov. 5 where he offers use concerns of community members to craft legislation.
The town hall is determined to occur from 6 p.m. to eight p.m. at Lovonya DeJean Middle School, 3400 Macdonald Ave.
Thurmond hopes to hear the “leading issues affecting student academic achievement.”
“The Assemblymember wishes to make use of the information through the Town Hall introducing legislation to battle those concerns, and improve the quality of education per child,” in accordance with a press release from his office.
All folks the community are invited towards discussion, which will incorporate a panel that has representatives of the West Contra Costa Unified School District, Berkeley Unified School District and Oakland Unified School District.
